Tip for locating Lake Michigan access points – Enter “Lake Michigan public access” into a search engine and then magnify the view along the shoreline to get a detailed look at your options. Call each county along the lakeshore and ask about access points. Also check with Michigan DNR district offices about areas that may not show up on maps.
